The touring exhibition can be rented, extended and adapted! Many things are conceivable:

If you wish, you can take over the existing show – including furniture, wall texts and advertising material. The collection can be delivered and set up. Other parts – such as additional objects or events – can be individually designed.
–
In addition, Luise Loué is available as curator for an adaptation or further development of the touring exhibition and/or the design of an event program based on your individual requirements, ideas and wishes – preferably in cooperation with your team on site.

Scope and space requirements of the touring exhibition:

  • 130 artefacts (1 film “Beginning to end of a relationship in 30 minutes”, approx. 80 small objects < 30x30 cm, approx. 30 objects < 1x1 m, 4 objects > 1 m, 1 hanging object 4×5 m)
  • One story each as accompanying text to the object
  • Three text panels DIN A3:
    1. Luise Loué: “What remains after the end of a relationship”
    2. Luise Loué: “What to do with all these mementos and memories?”
    3. Roland Barthes on the “gift of love”.
  • 10 gallery pedestals (30x30x100 cm) can be borrowed
  • Award-winning furniture (Bronze from ADC Germany, WORLD DESIGN GUIDE 2020:
    Closed shelf (length 8,6m) with LED for 57 objects
    Counter
    Cushions and seating
  • Lighting is not included

Version 1 for smaller facilities

  • From 10 objects
  • 10 gallery pedestals included
  • Car transport 
  • Quick assembly and disassembly

Version 2 for larger facilities

  • Approx. 75 objects
  • Shelf wall, counter
  • Lighting
  • Elaborate assembly and dismantling

From April 2 to October 31, 2019, 57 exhibits and their stories were displayed in the special exhibition “Vergiss die #liebe nicht!” in the LWL-Freilichtmuseum Detmold.

50 changing love objects were exhibited on 30m² in the literature office Munich-Haidhausen, April – October 2016.

Costs and liability:

  • The borrower bears the costs for transport
  • Transport with own car and assembly by the lender possible
  • Hourly wage/flat rate for content and concept work, as well as for communication, organisation and support of events on request
  • The borrower is liable for the objects. Protection of the exhibits must be guaranteed

Transport and assembly:

  • The collection of love objects – excluding exhibition furniture – can be transported in a larger car
  • Setup duration: approx. 2 days/2 persons; dismantling 1 day/2 persons

Advertising and communications:

  • Advertising material such as posters and invitation cards can be taken over and (for a small fee) adapted directly by our graphic designer
  • The touring exhibition can be promoted via existing media channels and networks (homepage, social media)
